Drunken Master Question
For the stronger effect of [drunken master], do you have to be drunk for the entire stance duration or do you just have to be drunk when you activate the stance. Also, would you consider this to be a good skill to use on a warrior even when not drunk? Thanks in advance.

Are they considering "drunk" to be the stages where you would gain points towards the title, or just any stage of being drunk?
I believe you only have to be drunk while activating the skill to be considered for a boost during the entire duration. I think I've seen some people say that this skill was meant to be synergized with [Dwarven Stability], but I'm not sure if that's necessarily true. I suppose it's okay. It's good for combining speed of attack and movement in one skill, but Warriors probably have a lot of better single skills to accomplish both tasks that would synergize okay. |

i totally love my drunken master both as a ranger 33% ias for .. what.. 90 seconds? cant beat that.
and as my dervish( only prob it doesnt fuel enchants) . you just need 1 drink then activate it based on my testing it doesnt seem to care if you use 3,4,5 dwarven ales , rice wine, etc. so just use 1 drink, then activate it. for dwarven stability, since it lasts only 30 seconds, is still a nice anti knockdown skill in itself with 1 drink, added bonus with the longer lasting stances. for a warrior, im not as sure this woulkd be a perfect skill for your bar. costwise, yes, but remember, stances for warriors (hmm and rangers and dervishes...) is also for blocking. so keep that in mind as well, you woulndt want to dedicate 2 skills on your bar just for a faster IAS if you still need some blocking. hope thats clearer than mud Striker IV Last edited by Striker IV; Jun 17, 2008 at 07:47 PM // 19:47.. |

Doesn't matter what stage of drunk you are, you just have to be drunk when the stance is activated. It won't check the status of your drunkenness again, until you activate the stance again. Same applies for Stability.

IAS and IMS in one skill ftw. I run [Drunken Master]+[Critical Agility] on my sin with zealous daggers and a [Moebius Strike] [Death Blossom] spam build for ultimate pwn.
As far as drunkeness, you only have to be drunk when activating. At any rank over 1 the duration lasts longer than the recharge so while [Dwarven Stability] does synergize, it's not necessary. Last edited by Damian979; Jun 17, 2008 at 02:01 PM // 14:01.. |

You need 3 drinks to be drunk right? And also, is there any shortcut button or menu that you can use for a quick drink? Because I find that opening my inventory and clicking on a drink in the middle of battle severely distracts me.
